It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #imwayr

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading this week. It’s hosted by Kathryn at Bookdate

What I Read Last Week:

Rome is Where the Heart Is was a really lovely, holiday type read.

The Breakdown was another solid psychological thriller from Paris, but I didn’t love it quite as much as her debut.

Say Nothing was a great thriller, part legal drama part domestic suspense.

The Mercury Travel Club was a really funny, lighthearted read.

The Fire Child was a huge disappointment for me.

The Missing Ones was a fantastic start to a new crime series.

After She’s Gone was a twisty tale full of family secrets.

The Fire Child 😦 such a disappointment after the debut… Oh, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Don’t Stop Me Now 🙂 and of course, Six Stories, brace yourself for a great one!
I just finished The Abrupt Physics of Dying, the book was bigger than my usual books so it scared me and I kept hesitating to read, despite the fact it’s a great story!
    Happy reading!

No surprise I’ve just finished reading a book set in France! I’ve just finished edits on my next novel and am waiting for the copy edit, so I’m enjoying some breathing time to read. I can’t recommend this book highly enough … I’M LOVING IT! It’s NOT Monday anymore lol It’s Thursday, and I am reading The Girls in the Garden and The Animators.

I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on Almost Missed You. The author is attending a book festival that I am going to in April, so you can tell me if it’s worth it to buy the book or not… no pressure 🙂
