Happy Blogiversary to me!! #giveaway

I’m so excited that June is finally here as I have some really fun giveaways planned that will last all month long! Yes, that’s right I’m planning on hosting four separate giveaways, one for every Tuesday in June.

Three of these will be open US only but one will be open internationally, more on that one later this month.

I honestly cannot believe that I’ve already been blogging for a full year, time has absolutely flown by and I’ve had a BLAST! I have met so many amazing people this past year and I appreciate every single blogger, author and publisher that has taken a chance on little old me. I still can’t believe that I’ve interacted with some of my favorite authors and publishers, I don’t know if I’ll ever stop fangirling when one of them responds to one of my tweets or thanks ME for reviewing their book! Like seriously, thanking me for reading?! Still crazy to me, it never gets old.

I don’t want to turn this into an Academy Award type speech, but I’m going to anyway 😂😂😂 I do want to thank the blogging community in general for the support, encouragement and laughs. I don’t want to miss anyone or hurt any feelings, but I do have to specifically mention ChelseaBentleyAnnieSam and Renee as you guys have become such great friends and I appreciate you all so much. Also Sarah and Noelle have been invaluable in terms of being not only super helpful, but also are the type of bloggers that I so admire. The rest of you are all amazing as well, I have to stop name dropping because everyone is most definitely nodding off by now.

I can’t say thanks without mentioning the publishers who I just adore, Karen and Anne at Orenda Books, Kim at Bookouture and Sarah at Bloodhound Books. All of you ladies are amazing and I’m honored every single time one of you invites me on a tour!

I’ll stop now, but not before I thank each and everyone of you who follows me here and on various social media. I’m still dumbstruck that people actual care about what I have to say, it’s truly humbling and I’m so grateful! I hope these little giveaways show just a small part of my gratitude.
Finally onto the fun stuff! This weeks giveaway is awesome if I do say so myself. One person will win two books, both of which I have been eagerly waiting for.

A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena

Why would you run scared from a happy home?
You’re waiting for your beloved husband to get home from work. You’re making dinner, looking forward to hearing about his day.
That’s the last thing you remember.
You wake up in hospital, with no idea how you got there. They tell you that you were in an accident; you lost control of your car whilst driving in a dangerous part of town.
The police suspect you were up to no good. But your husband refuses to believe it. Your best friend isn’t so sure. And even you don’t know what to believe . . .

Everything We Left Behind by Kerry Lonsdale

From the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of Everything We Keep comes the highly anticipated sequel. Told from one man’s two perspectives, Everything We Left Behind effortlessly blends suspense, mystery, and romance in an exploration of loss, resilience, and the compelling need to protect the ones we love at all cost.
Two months before his wedding, financial executive James Donato chased his trade-laundering brother Phil to Mexico, only to be lost at sea and presumed dead. Six and a half years later, he emerges from a dissociative fugue state to find he’s been living in Oaxaca as artist Carlos Dominguez, widower and father of two sons, with his sister-in-law Natalya Hayes, a retired professional surfer, helping to keep his life afloat. But his fiancée, Aimee Tierney, the love of his life, has moved on. She’s married and has a child of her own.
Devastated, James and his sons return to California. But Phil is scheduled for release from prison, and he’s determined to find James, who witnessed something in Mexico that could land Phil back in confinement. Under mounting family pressure, James flees with his sons to Kauai, seeking refuge with Natalya. As James begins to unravel the mystery of his fractured identity, danger is never far behind, and Natalya may be the only person he can trust.

You can enter the giveaway here! Good luck. (US only)

“I don’t want to turn this into an Academy Award type speech” this made me laugh so much, I actually pictured you saying this in front of an audience. Happy blogiversary, I had no idea that you started (a bit) later than me, I thought you had been blogging much longer!

Your reviews are amazing, I can’t believe how many books you read every week (well, I think that Sam reads more but I think she’s from another planet :P) and thanks o you (or should I blame you? lol) I’ve added too many new books to my TBR and discovered some great authors ❤

Hope to keep discussing new books for a looooong time and, of course, surprising plot twists 😛

Happy Blogiversary, Amy!!! Honestly, I’m shocked it’s only been a year for you because your levels of professionalism and talent reading and reviewing and interacting with the community has elevated you in my mind to a shining beacon of stellar performance that I aspire to be even half as great as someday. You are also one of the kindest bloggers I’ve met thus far. You were incredibly welcoming to me when I was just a fledgling blogger and your advice has been so valuable to me.

Looking forward to another year of your friendship (and your reviews too!) ❤ 🙂

It’s really nice that after only a year you have a specific people that you want to thank because you’ve made bonds with them. It just shows what a great book community we have here.
