Best Thrillers of 2018 #Bestof2018

This may be my favorite category of all, mystery/thrillers are my hands down favorite genre to read so narrowing this list down was hard y’all!

Best thrillers

Good Samaritans was one of the darkest and most messed up books I read all year and I loved every single twisted page!

Verity has been everywhere this month and rightfully so. Hoover’s first foray into the dark side of fiction was amazing and this one will keep you thinking about it long after you finish, SO good!

The Lies We Told is psychological thriller perfection, beyond twisty and super intense and also really smartly plotted. A definite must read.

I’m a huge Bell fan and think Somebody’s Daughter is his best yet. It was fast and furious and had so many great surprises.

Don’t Believe It is a total binge read and after I finished it I remember feeling like it breathed fresh life into the genre.

The Sandman is impressive on so many levels but if you like serial killer thrillers this is a must read!

The Perfect Mother was one of the most talked about books this year and the best part is that it more than lives up to the hype, it even exceeded my expectations!

Jar of Hearts was one of the best surprises for me this year, not only was the content of this especially shocking but I found a new author, that’s always the best!

In the Vines was such a rich, Immersive read I loved it!

That’s it for my favorite thrillers, have you read any of these? If so, what did you think?

These all sound great – I love to sink into a thriller and you’ve given me some ideas. I have read several in 2018, but none of these. I wish I could start one right now, but off I go to food shop and then to work! Happy New Year!

I’m so excited to see Verity on this list! I attended her book tour for her book All Your Perfects and she said she was working on her first thriller! I cannot believe how quickly she can crank out so many wonderful books and is now doing it across genres!
