Book tags/memes

I’ve seen tons of these floating around and wanted to get some input from you guys. I want to join a few next week but there are quite a few, so I’m hoping you guys can help me narrow it down.

So, what weekly memes/tags do you guys participate in? What are your favorite ones? Links would be greatly appreciated!

Do you guys like reading these? I really do, hence my interest. They seem fun, a great way to discover new blogs, and new books. Like I need any more to add to my TBR πŸ˜‚

My favorite is Book Traveling Thursdays. You pick a book based on a theme and then you go through all the different countries covers and pick your favorites. It’s really cool to see how books are interpreted in different countries. I also do Waiting on Wednesday which is when you just spotlight an upcoming release. I am hoping to participate in Memorable Mondays which is where you share a quote from a book. I am looking for a quote for this Monday.

I have done QUITE a lot of tags, lol, but I have narrowed my list down to some of my favorites:
    – Burn, Rewrite, Reread Tag
    – The Reader Problems Tag
    – The Bookish Scenarios Tag
You can check out all the tags I’ve done if you are interested πŸ™‚ https://jbelkbooks.wordpress.com/tags/

As for weekly memes, I usually post Top Ten Tuesday, Which Cover Wednesday, Friday Finds, & my own creation, Captivating Covers. Again, you can check those out on my blog if you need some insight on what those are about!

Top 5 Wednesday and Top Ten Tuesday are popular. There’s also waiting on Wednesday, WWW Wednesday, Face-Off Friday. I started a book blogger group on Goodreads called Hype or Like Friday. We have weekly meme questions and a book of the month. There are a lot of memes out there. You might even find some on Google. You can join Top 5 Wednesday and Hype or Like Friday by typing it in Goodreads and my memes are also on my blog if you want to see what they look like. The one thing I’d advise is not to do too many of them. Some people do three a week and that’s a little much when everyone else is doing the same ones. I tend to skip over them when I see too many in my feed. I’d say Tuesday and Wednesday are the most popular and cluttered days for memes. Monday, Thursday, and Friday might give you more traffic because of it. I know a lot of bloggers skip over certain ones.
