After absolutely loving the first Darling Springs audiobook, I couldn’t wait to jump right into book two—and listening to these back to back was the best decision. Lauren Blakely has created such a cozy, welcoming little town that I already feel at home there. Every visit feels like catching up with friends, and I love how each romance introduces new characters while expanding this adorable community.

The audiobook was another complete winner. Vanessa Edwin has one of the sweetest, warmest voices, making Chloe impossible not to adore, while still bringing plenty of emotion and chemistry when the romance heats up. Connor Crais continues to prove why he pops up in so many of my favorite romance audiobooks. His signature growly voice, impeccable timing, and effortless swoon factor made Sawyer the perfect grumpy hero. These two were fantastic together and made an already charming romance even more addictive.

If you’re a dog person this is for you! Between the dog training business, the daycare, and all of the hardworking pups with their unique personalities, there was an extra layer of sweetness woven throughout the story. Add in witty banter, sizzling chemistry, plenty of laughs, and those Dirty Dancing inspired dance lessons, and I was completely invested from beginning to end.

Lauren Blakely has quickly reminded me why she’s one of my favorite romance authors to listen to on audio. The production quality is consistently outstanding, the narrators always elevate the story, and Darling Springs is becoming one of those fictional towns I’m always happy to revisit. If you’re looking for a feel good romance series that’s equal parts cozy, funny, and spicy, this one deserves a spot on your listening list.
