See It Through is a small town, western romance featuring the Kelly family. It can be read as a complete standalone, however this series is second generation. The Kelly kids’ parents are Lock and Elena, and their story starts in Sweet Like Poison. This is Hannah Kelly’s story.
Review:
My first book by Julia Wolf, and I am impressed. See It Through does a really good job balancing emotional depth and some gritty, heavier issues with the warmth and charm of a small town romance. I loved the Wyoming setting and the way Sugar Brush felt like a place I could actually sink into. There’s plenty of that small town goodness, but it isn’t afraid to dig into harder emotions and complicated problems either.
Remi and Hannah were such a great couple. You can really feel how hard they fall for each other, and I loved that underneath the chemistry and spicy moments, there was this strong sense that they were choosing each other for the long haul. Their relationship develops from a tentative friendship into something deeper, and that made the emotional payoff hit even harder. Add in a dash of suspense and intrigue, and there was enough happening to keep me completely invested.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Emma Wilder and Sean Masters, and both were fantastic. I always adore Emma’s sweet voice and her ability to portray such a wide range of emotions. Sean absolutely nailed Remi’s rough exterior with that gravelly voice, but when Remi finally lets his guard down and shows some real emotion? So good. That contrast made those emotional moments especially powerful.
I’m officially invested in the Kelly Ranch world because I immediately picked up book two. A strong start to the series with a swoony romance, great chemistry, emotional depth, a gorgeous Wyoming setting, and just enough suspense to keep things interesting.
