Top 5 Wednesday

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly post that is hosted by Sam from Thoughts On Tomes and there is also a Goodreads group where you can find more information. This weeks topic is books you would like to see as TV shows.

Books I Want To See As TV Shows:

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this book and I think it would make a compelling TV series. There is definitely enough drama and intrigue to support a series and I was fascinated by the preparations for The Storm.

The Wedding Belles series by Lauren Layne would make such a cute TV show! You have tons of cute characters, like Brooke and Seth from To Have and To Hold then there’s Heather and Josh from For Better Or Worse. Plus, there are plenty of other fun characters that would make a great cast!

The Dollhouse would be so fantastic, very Mad Men! I can just imagine the clothes and the setting of 1950’s NYC 😍

The Sister would be a totally gripping TV show, I kept looking over my should while reading the book, I can’t imagine what a show would make me do.

For my last one, I’m going with Here’s To Us, but really I’ve often thought that any Hilderbrand novel would make a great TV show. The wealthy and fabulous who are always hiding things and wrapped up in drama? Totally my kind of show! I may watch a lot of trashy reality TV. Real Housewives being one of my favorites.

So what books would you guys like to see as TV shows?

Great list Amy! I love the idea of The Sister being a TV series. Wouldn’t it be great if someone involved in the TV industry saw any of this week’s memes only to get inspired by some? I mean I can dream…😊
