It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? Is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading this week. It’s hosted by Kathryn at Bookdate.
I went out of town over the weekend for a girls winery trip, which was an absolute blast! I didn’t read at all while I was there, but overall I still had a pretty good reading week.
What I Read Last Week:
I started the week with The Last One. This was an okay read for me, nothing special.

Next was The Couple Next Door. I loved this one!

Cut was my last physical book for the week and I liked this romantic suspense novel.
I also finished listening to the final book in the Selection series, review for the entire series will be up soon!
What I’m Currently Reading:
This one is good so far, it’s a YA dystopian.

I’m almost done listening to All The Bright Places. So many emotions and feelings with this one!
Up Next:
I’m part of the Competing With the Star blog tour this week and super excited about it!

Right now I’m reading Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. It’s almost exact to a story I wrote.

I’m starting it later, I have high hopes! I don’t think I’ve heard of how to be brave, can’t wait for your review.

The Couple Next Door is supposed to be good. ON my TBR list also. Right now I am reading The Soak – better than I thought. I try so hard to find time to read, mostly before I go to bed but lately I just make the time to sit…..work will be starting in two weeks and that really cuts into my reading time. I treated myself to the new Sandra Brown book, The Sting, because I havent read her in quite awhile….going to try to start that in a day or two as I am 80% done with my current book…

I really liked the Couple next door! It is so hard to find time to read sometimes. The new Sandra Brown is on my TBR as well.

New World Rising has an awesome cover, I haven’t seen that one before. and I like The Dollhouse too. Almost has a retro vibe in a way. Too Close looks suspenseful.

I loved the cover for NWR too! I just started the Dollhouse and retro is exactly it! It flashes back to NY in the 50s and present day.

I’m reading a book I was sent for review, but it’s taking me ages because I’m just coming out of a reading slump!

That’s the worst! I hope you get out of your slump soon.

There isn’t a book that made me cry as hard as All of the Bright Places, and I think it is truly a remarkable piece of fiction. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I thin you said the author is looking for reviews for Cut, right? I’m so swamped right now with ARCs, but I think I might reach out at some point for a copy. It does sound interesting. I’ve heard All The Bright Places is a real tear jerker. I’ve been holding off on it because of that but it sounds awesome! 🙂

She is! She was very laid back with me in terms of a timeframe so it may be worth looking into. It is super emotional but very good!

Oh that’s good to know. Thank you! 🙂 If she’s cool about timeframe, then I’ll contact her probably tonight or tomorrow.
