I’m not sure what I’m reading for TBT this week but I’m in the mood for a psychological thriller. I do have several on my TBR this week already but I have a huge stack of some that I’ve been dying to read for ages! I’m thinking about My Husband’s Son or Until You’re Mine. Anyone read those and have an opinion on which I should start first?

I only managed to read 3 books last week, I’m struggling a bit lately and I was also on a mini vacation. I did manage to finish two audiobooks though as I did quite a bit of driving so stay tuned for those reviews later this week. I’m hoping to get back into a good groove this week though! Keep your fingers crossed for me that I’m not entering a slump, ugh!! I’m really looking forward to my planned reads though so I’m hopeful!

Emerald Coast was a fun, sexy beachy read.

At Wave’s End was another beachy read but this one had some depth and heart.

My favorite book of the year thus far and one of the reviews I’m the most proud of, The Good Daughter. I know you guys are probably sick of me gushing over this book/author, but I have to share one more thing. She said my review made her day AND she’s now following me on Twitter!!! I couldn’t be happier, all my book blogging dreams have now come true hahaha. Now if I can just get Harlan Coben’s attention…

For the first time I missed this post last week. I totally spaced it, I was super bummed once I realized it. I assumed I would get tons of reading done this summer and have all kinds of time on my hands since my kids wouldn't have school and their extra curriculars and I was soooo wrong 😂 Things have been crazier than ever, maybe when they start school next week I'll have more time?!

What I Read Last Week:

Beneath the Surface was a good read but something was missing for me.

Mrs. Saint and the Defectives was a super fun, quirky read.

The Mentor was a creepy, chilling thriller.

I joined in on Throwback Thursday for the first time and read Fear Nothing and loved it!

The Lost Wife was a super emotional read.

Deadly Friendship was an awesome read and I have a character named after me, how cool is that?!

The Trouble With Words was a fun, heartfelt read.

I’m on the blog tour for all three of these books so I’ll definitely have reviews up for them, but as for what else I’ll be reading this week, who knows? I’m having fun reading a few books that I really want to read so I’ll probably continue that. Unless the books from my review pile decide to taunt me 😜

Each Little Lie was another great read from Bale if a bit slower paced than his other books.

Final Girls was a really intense read that toed the line into horror.

Every Secret Thing was much more literary than I expected it to be.

The Stolen Girls was another dark, gritty read in the Lottie Parker series.

I kept my July fairly open, at least compared to the past few months. I have some dates set in stone for tours, but I wanted to give myself some freedom to read what I want to keep the blogger burnout away! So, you may see some fluctuations between what I think I may read and what I actually do read. I’m planning on being more “open” for the foreseeable future. I’ll always support my favorite publishers and authors and will still be doing tours, just only for the books that I really, truly am dying to read!
How was your week? Any fun plans for the 4th? I’ve been sick so been hanging in bed.😭👎
